Dave's book brings me back to my roots. In many ways! As a boomer born in 1951 I can recall much of the history brought back to life here. The story is simple and real. I really enjoyed this book. My parents celebrated every holiday with gusto. This book took me back to my childhood. Christmas and Thanksgiving being the biggest and best celebrated. My mom started baking a week before Thanksgiving and didn't stop until Christmas Eve. This book brought me right back to those early days when life was simple and easy. I'm 56 now and still celebrate Christmas like I was 7. Thanks for the memories.
